    Experiential design for gallery no.1 at The Saatchi Gallery’s renowned, ‘From Selfie to Self Expression’ exhibition.

For BARBARA’s very first commission, we were invited to conceive the first room in what became the gallery’s most popular exhibition ever.

We designed a space that mirrored the impulsive, fickle way in which we consume art today—through our smartphones. By filling the space with vertically mounted screens, we encouraged visitors to ‘like’ Old Masters on full-size digital replicas of the paintings.

The success of the exhibition led to a rerun of the show, and after hundreds of thousands of likes logged, it was Frida Kahlo who came out on top.
